| The sidewalk doesn't go this far! Vacation at a friendly Wisconsin resort on the shores of a quiet bay. We're at the end of the road with 48 acres of land, tall pines, and a babbling brook running through the middle of it all. Another 60+ acres of State of Wisconsin forest is right next door. Deer, mink, raccoon, bald eagles, loons, blue heron, and a lot of other interesting wildlife make their home here. |

In the basement of the main house is a gathering place for our guests called the Rathskeller. This small northwoods tavern is family oriented. Historic terra cotta panels line the walls. The Rathskeller serves beer, liquor, pizza and soft-serve ice cream treats. Root beer floats are a favorite of the young and old alike. Hilltop also has a well equipped playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball and basketball. Minocqua is 6 miles away with restaurants, entertainment, shopping, golf courses, horseback riding, wildlife reserves and the like. Minocqua is home to the Minocqua Bats Waterski Show and the Scheer Lumberjack Show. Northern Lights Playhouse is also nearby. |
